The Bishop Verot Vikings had a rough year last year. They went 1-7 while playing some very tough teams. The game they won was against CSN or Community School of Naples, a score of 11-2. One of the toughest teams they played was Lemon Bay. They lost with a score of 22-0.  Even worse, the games got canceled because of the Coronavirus.

Still recovering from the virus, today the team is playing LaBelle who has a record of 3-0.  Their best player right now is Dylann White, who has two hits and a 1.000 batting average. The  Vikings will play many teams from around Florida. Some of them are close and in an area like  Fort Myers, but some are far away as well as the Academy of the Holy Names which are located in Tampa.

The Vikings have some returning players like Audrey Mills, Ashley Smallwood, Payton  Teeter, and Courtney Teeter. They got some new players too. Those people are Aubrey  Gatewood, Lillie Layne, Victoria Ash, Savannah Chase, Green Skiela, Sophia Miller, and Katelyn  Mohs. Many of the players that they got will do amazing on the team. They also lost some players, Alexis Hollinger, Lindsey Stoyach, and Alexis Wadding.

They also got a new coach, his name is Chris Gatewood. They also got Jessica Cole and  Dan Mills. Chris Gatewood is the head coach. Jessica Cole is the Schools administrator, while  Dan Mills is the statistician. Overall the team is looking a lot better with the addition of the new players.
