Thursday night the Bishop Verot Vikings beat the Palmetto Ridge Bears 17-2 at Viking  Stadium. It was a pretty one-sided game the whole time. The Vikings controlled the Bears by setting the tempo and dominating the time of possession.

Verot’s face-off specialists Max Wallisch and Luke Fritz helped the Vikings control the game by winning 87% of the face-offs taken. Trey Toscano lead all scorers with 5 points and Josh Comisar had 4. 10 of the 17 goals were assisted with the most assists by Trey Toscano who had 3, Jack  Cronin 2, and Austin Santoro 2 respectively.

The Vikings bounced back from a loss to their district rival, Canterbury last week. Now they prepare for a back-to-back homestand this week. On Thursday they play Saint Stephen’s  Episcopal (1-1) and the day after that they face Naples high school(5-2).
