On Friday September 17th, the Bishop Verot Vikings will take on Port Charlotte in a head to
head matchup.

4 star cornerback Chris Graves makes his return as he pads up tonight at 7:30 for kickoff for the first time in 3 weeks . With back to back losses on the Vikings record standing at 1-2, the Vikings are seeking a home win which would give their record a 2-2 look with 6 games to go. This game is a make or break for the Vikings and it's going to be a challenge for them. 2-2 and 1-3 is a major difference.

Port Charlotte is a very good team that is ranked 5 in the state amongst 5A schools. Verot will have to play disciplined football and it will be a hard fight.

Port Charlotte has many offensive weapons, they especially thrive in the pass game. Their main offensive threat to keep an eye on is Number 2 Edd Guerrier who seems to have the ball in his hands a whole lot.

This week, the vikings will be focused on the pass game, and with Graves back we will be able to see this receiver core all on the field at once for the first time this year( besides the 2 quarter jamboree in the preseason) The O line needs to hold their blocks so the young QB Smith can get the ball out to his phenomenal receiving core. Running Back Andrew Kelton has been doing his major part with averaging 137 yards per game and an outstanding average of 5.8 yards per carry.

How will the Vikings bounce back after two losses? Will they bounce back as they take on Port Charlotte at home trying to defend their home for the fourth time this year.
Come at 7:30 tonight to witness the white out famous home game.
