September 25, 2020. Friday night our Verot Vikings took on the lions of Chaminade Madonna.

Chaminade's #40 David Babb, kicked the ball off to #8 Malik Curtis who proceeded to run for 42 yards. 8:10 minutes left in the 1st quarter, #15 Deaglan Camron attempted a 25 yard field goal, putting the Vikings ahead by 3 points. As the quarter progressed, Chaminade decided to take the lead. #1 Thaddius Franklin ran for a 11 yard touch down followed by #40 David Babb’s field goal. Putting Chaminade up 7 to 3.

2nd quarter began with a score of 7 to 3, which ended up staying the score throughout the whole quarter.

With a slow 3rd quarter, Chaminade stepped into action and proceeded to put points on the board.
2:42 minutes left in the 3rd quarter, #1 Thaddius Franklin ran for a 16 yard touchdown, again followed by #40 David Babb’s field goal. This put the score at 14 to 3 at the end of 3rd quarter.

4th quarter began with a score of 14 to 3 but not for long. #15 Deaglan Camron attempted a 26 yard field goal, which put 3 more points on the board for the Vikings. As 4th quarter was coming to an end, Chaminade’s #1 Thaddius Franklin was determined to put more points on the board. With 0:12 seconds left, he ran for a 1 yard touchdown, and yet again was followed by #40 David Babbs field goal. This brought the score to 21 to 6, which was what the final score ended up being.

This Friday Chaminade Madonna will be having a bye week. For Verot this Friday we will be playing Sebring, this will also be our senior night! Good job to both teams and good luck with future games.
