Verot started off slow as pitcher J.Henry Hobson allowed 4 runs in the first. However, Verot bounced back by senior shortstop Brady Loughren who had 2 doubles this game and an incredible catch that kept CSN from scoring.

It can down to the bottom of the sixth as Verot had ended tying as freshman Matthew Turner got on base a went ahead with the go-ahead run. However in the top of the seventh CSN gave Verot a run for their money as they had the tying run in scoring position, but they could not pull it off as Verot closer Kolton Curtis sat them down.
