FORT MYERS, Fla. - On Thursday, our Bishop Verot Vikings took on the Bobcats of North Port at Viking Stadium.

FIRST QUARTER - In the first quarter with 8:10 left, Jacob Azizi found Chris Graves, who ran 39 yards for a Viking touchdown. The extra point from Deaglan Camron gave Verot a 7-0 lead, which would prove to be the score after 12 minutes. 

SECOND QUARTER - As the second quarter started, the Vikings looked to continue their quick start. With 9:56 left on the clock, Azizi ran for a four-yard touchdown, followed by the extra point made by Camron. As the game progressed, the Vikings started controlling the action. Kerby Joseph ran for a 1 yard touchdown, but a missed extra point kept the BV lead at 20-0. Not long after that, Azizi decided one touchdown wasn’t enough for him. With 4:01 left, the senior quarterback ran for a 27 yard touchdown which was followed by an extra point made by Camron. This put the Vikings up 27-0 at the end of the second quarter. 

THIRD QUARTER – Verot added to their lead early in the third quarter. Azizi found Carson Powers for a two-yard touchdown, with the tight end making a juggling catch in the endzone. The extra point was missed, leaving the Viking lead at 33-0. Later in the quarter, Joseph decided to add his second touchdown of the night. With 7:57 left in the third quarter, Joseph ran for a four-yard touchdown followed by an extra point made by Camron. This put the Vikings ahead by a score of 40-0 at the end of the third quarter. 

FOURTH QUARTER - As the last quarter started, the Verot Vikings were looking for one more score. With 11:05 left on the running clock, Azizi hit Jadon Humphries for a 11-yard touchdown followed by an extra point made by Camron. This capped Verot’s fourth win of the season with a 47-0 final score.
